We warmly welcome Pedro Fernández to our community—a new and talented Scenario Designer who is enriching the Commands & Colors: Napoleonics fan section with an extraordinary collection of 8 new scenarios.
His work ranges from key historical events of the Peninsular War and Napoleonic campaigns to intriguing "what-if" scenarios and innovative tactical variants, offering players fresh and stimulating strategic challenges.
Here is an overview of the new scenarios designed by Pedro:
| PF01 Vitoria, Escape of the King (June 21, 1813) | A variation of the historical Battle of Vitoria from the Peninsular War. This scenario focuses on the dramatic escape of King Joseph I Bonaparte: a true escort and escape scenario in which the French forces must protect the king at all costs and allow him to escape from the battlefield. |
| PF02 Battle of London (June 1812) | A fascinating fictional scenario set after a successful landing by Napoleon in the British Isles. Beyond its "what-if" theme, this scenario features a unique map orientation, with the battle taking place from left to right rather than using the traditional north–south orientation. |
| PF03 Second Attack on the Fleches (September 7, 1812) | Based on the Battle of Borodino, this scenario represents the second French attack against Bagration's iconic Fleches. To recreate the tactical complexities around the Russian fortifications, the scenario introduces brand-new mechanics such as Armor-Piercing Ammunition and Sappers. |
| PF04 Battle of Bubierca (November 29, 1808) | Another retreat scenario characterized by a very interesting mechanic: the Spanish withdrawal is only activated when the French manage to capture Bubierca or reach a specific number of Victory Banners. |
| PF05 Invasion of Seville (February 1, 1810) | A strategic scenario focused on the French advance into Andalusia towards Seville, where the primary and crucial objective for the outcome of the battle is the capture of Seville Cathedral |
| PF06 La Coruña The death of Moore (January 16, 1809) | A high-tension special scenario in which the French forces have a precise and ruthless goal: break through the British defensive lines to locate and eliminate Sir John Moore. |
| PF07 Valmaseda (November 5, 1808) | An intense retreat scenario in which the French army must disengage and withdraw from the battlefield, while the Spanish troops do everything they can to block their path and prevent their escape. |
| PF08 Vitoria the Zadorra bridges (June 21, 1813) | A further expansion on the Vitoria campaign, centered entirely around control of the three bridges crossing the Zadorra River. In this scenario, managing and controlling the river crossing points is the absolute key to victory. |
