405 Halle - Morning (17 October 1806)

Halle - 17 October 1806
(Morning)
Historical Background
Hearing of the disaster at Jena-Auerstadt, and not receiving any further orders, Eugene, Duke of Württemberg, deployed his main force south of Halle. He also sent von Hinrichs with a small force to guard the bridges that crossed the branches of the Saale. On the morning of the 17th, Bernadotte’s advance guard pushed back the Prussian dragoons that were at Passendorf. Eugene responded quickly and sent another small force to support the bridge defenders. By this time, however, Dupont’s infantry was in position and he ordered them to charge forward to take the bridges. The French punched through the forward Prussian position and captured the first bridge and island. In less than an hour Dupont’s French had captured all three bridges and were driving the Prussians out of Halle.
The stage is set. The battle lines are drawn and you are in command. Can you change history?

Victory
4 Banners
Special Rules
• The French player gains 1 Temporary Victory banner when a French unit occupies a bridge at the start of the turn (Temporary Victory Banner Turn Start)
• The entire river system of the Saale is fordable (both river rows are part of the "Saale" river and fordable!). The shallow fords do not stop movement.
405 HALLE (Morning) (17 October 1806)
Are both river sections a part of Saale or only one and have the 2 ford river tiles any other/additional rule to the other fordable river, because the scenario notes says only the entire river is fordable?
The entire river system of the Saale (both rows) is fordable. The shallow fords do not stop movement.

And sadly that one french LC more will not help, to balance the scenario more to prussian side

Sadly the style of the Pictures in the Scenario book are very bad to to distinguish sometimes, they should have the clear style with colored borders as the vassal module.
Right Vassal file attached until next update, but for current tournament we should indeed play on with this "mistake".
File Attachment:
File Name: P405-Halle...ing.vsavFile Size:18 COM_KUNENA_USER_ATTACHMENT_FILE_WEIGHT
The scenario book shows the LC on french right to be French LC. The CCN shows it as Prussian. I would suspect that CCN site is in error and that the Vassal scenario likewise perpetuates the error.
(Also, the MT12 is playing this scenario, so it would make sense that anyone who has not played this scenario for that tournament, should continue to play it using the version in error, since the rest of us used the incorrect version)
also Vassal module.
If someone find more mistakes, either on website or on Vassal module,
post it, and i try to fix it asap.
I started also to revise the "Units" section
www.ccnapoleonics.net/Rules/Units/foot-artillery-fa.html
as example, and i will check the website step by step and revise it,
if it necessary and/or usefull

The French CAV must be prussian CAV.
I wished, the Units in the Scenario booklet had the clear style of the Vassal module, so you couldn´t confuse it

Correct notes:
"The entire river system of the Saale is fordable. The shallow fords do not stop movement."
And both river rows are part of the "Saale" river and fordable!
