MD07 Polotsk - First Day of Battle (17 October 1812)

Played last evening with my classical opponent Butcher Guillaume.
Very interesting scenario.
Guillaume wasn't lucky with his dice rolls.
scores : 8/3 (russian victory with two french generals killed in action !) ; 8/4 (french victory with the destruction of the russian guard horse artillery)

Game over on 7th French card. Two Fire and Hold and then a Bayonet Charge. St. Cyr wins a baton 8-1.

Good afternoon Is it possible to post a current map? The description does not match the map. The Vassal Card is also an outdated version.

I've updated the map, hopefully correctly since I could only get back to VASSAL module 3.7, an the scenario sae was v3.2

It seems to match the special rules, and the terrain counts.

Updating the VASSAL module is more complicated and I want to leave that in the capable hands of Mark Benson, rather than me tinker. I'm not sure thatthe current module even supports these fan variant units.

I think you could substitute Austrian Line for the Swiss Line, and Prussians for the Bavarian units.
