First time playing this particular scenario. Looks to be balanced, as the Allies have more troops, but the French have a stronger position. French won 9-6. The French had very good dice, the Allies had very bad dice.

Played twice today. Allies won the first 9-6. French won the second 9-8 in a real nail biter.

A remarkable scenario, very long, brutal combat. The Allies suffered more block losses 33-29 but won 9-5. Both sides emphasized the open ground on the French right. Ultimately the British light cavalry exited and Soult’s position became untenable.
