Hi, I'm François from Le Mans, France, 38 years old.
Very happy for the game and this forum from Alessandro.
My father is portuguese and I just discovered that a Portuguese Legion had fought in Russia with "La Grande Armée" (Thanks to Pascal72).
I thought that portuguese troops only fought with UK.
I'm a great fan of Richard Borg's games (C&C : Ancients, Memoir'44, Battlelore and Battle Cry).
Good luck and games to everyone !

Hi I'm Dave from Nottingham, Eng.

I've always had a soft post for Napoleonics, enjoyed what I've played of CC:A so couldn't resist buying this when I heard it was coming out.

Happy Battling

Dave.

Hello mates, my name is Stefano, I live in Italy close to Milano.

This game seems really good and easy to play, in the future I get many hours of fun playing it.

See you soon on the battlefield through Vassal.

Ciao

Stefano

I am Kirk from Columbus, Ohio. Love the CCA games, and jumped all over CCN. Glad to see this website, as I really enjoy the Ancients one also.

I'm Martin from Bedfordshire, England. I love the C&C sytem and have all the Memoir '44 expansions. I'm new to Napoleonics but already this game gives a great feel for the period. Looking forward to more scenarios and an Epic version of Waterloo! ;)

Hi,

Just started with C&C Napoleonics. I am very impressed. Fast game play, excellant feel for the era and challenging.

I wargame mainly using figures with the DBA rules for Ancients, DB-RRR Pike and Shot and DBN for Napoleonic.

I am very glad to write in this welcome area.

My name is Josep Ferrer, and my Fightname is Pepville. I am 52 years old, and i began to love boardgames thirty years ago, but i abandoned this hobby due the difficulty to find some people who liked and were disposed to spend a few hours enjoying in this way. It was very very difficult.

Now,a lot of years ago, i decided to scrabble in my past hobby and restart this nice activity. From then i have explored the web to see how boardgemes runs actually, and i have found a lot of interesting games, for example Battle Cry, some interesting Euro games and overall C&CA Series. And following this way i discover this two jewells in the net that are CCANCIENTS.NET and CCNAPOLEONICS.NET. Alessandro, my depht and sincerely respect for your aportations. This is for me like a Dysneyworld for a little boy.

My dices will give me the glory. :woohoo:

Do you know about Vassal? I am in the USA and play CCN by Vassal play-by-email with opponents in Italy and Australia. We often send a turn or two each day, and all have a great time.

If you want to play you can email me at ackerXdoug@gXmail.com (please remove the Xs which I added to foil spammers who might want my precious email address.

I am retired so I am always ready to start playing with a new opponent.

Hi folks, I'm Thom from Louisiana, US, (during the winter months) or Thom from Michigan, US, depending on the season. I've been playing wargames for more years than I care to think about... in excess of 50, off and on over the years.

I think C&C:Napoleonics is the best all-round game I've ever played, and think this is a seriously cool website. I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Prussians and anything else the team at GMT wants to develop.

I've been using Vassal but have yet to give a go head-to-head. Maybe someday soon, we'll meet across the digital smoke of a Napoleonic battlefield.

Cheers!
