Tuck, there is also the CACCN League as well, at present consisting of 6 players that play using Skype as the communication vehicle.
However, that too is mid-way and won't be re-started till the end of the year where we hope to expand a little.
The MT Tourneys are very well attended and start up regularly so as G said, keep your eye out for the MT17 as the next one. I'll be looking to jump in too probably.
That said, if you would like to VASSAL and use Skype to talk rather than write on the log we are always up for individual games. Also of course, when you log into VASSAL there seems to be nearly always somebody there ready for a game. Hope we can accomodate you later in the year.
