Well, here a good example, that the dice
can be the hell

Played against agssm in the MT2 and suffered
a disaster.
If i got the same cards again, i would play exact
same tactic again, but if the dice don´t love you,
you can do nothing :S

My dice are the hell!

Is the entire Portina Brook fordable in this scenario? Or is there only a ford where the French Line Infantry set up in the brook?
Thanks!

the complete river is fordable, there is no special single "ford" hex.

Quite an interesting battle. I played as the British. The French advanced in the Center but took heavy casualties and were repelled giving me a 3-0 lead. After a brief cavalry skirmish on my left and another repulsed attack on my right thanks to the long range of the rifles and timely intervention of the guards the score went to 6-3. A few French infantry followed the remaining cavalry on my left into fire from the British line and foot artillery. Finishing off the battle 7-3 for the Brits.

I played a very interesting and suspenseful game as the British yesterday, only barely managing to win 7 - 6. A quite defensive game that relied on cautious advances and artillery fire. Unit of the match was the British Guard Heavy Cavalry, that managed to destroy two French light cavalries with a Cavalry Charge card, got reduced to 1 Block, retreated to the baseline, got replenished to three blocks and nearly defeated another French (heavy) cavalry unit before perishing in British infantry fire. This is a fun battle.

I think there is an error in NT’s rule interpretation in the ridge assault during the videoed game... Light infantry Sabre rolls counts as hits, unlike Rifle Light and Militia.

Allied victory 7/5. 2 cavalry charge cards for the british on his left flank wipped out french light cav and pinned down two line inf in square. Lack of cards made impossible for the french to do nothing on the center or left flank but some bombardment. Once cards were picked back the french assault begun. French almost get a draw 5/4, but a final counterattack on the british left upon a weak one block line inf scored the VPs to win.
