Allowing infantry to form a square in a Forest hex seems strange. But I guess we are talking about forests in Spain which may not be as thick and dense as those in northern Europe. However, attacking infantry in a forest with cavalry is not a good tactic anyway!
Perhaps this will be a terrain rule change in any future north and east European theatre expansion?
Hi, Achtung Panzer !
In fact, there are different kinds of forests in the Iberic Peninsula.
For example, Buçaco is well known for its very green and dense forests and also for the numerous water springs around there (Luso Water for example).
Northwest of the Peninsula (Portugal's Minho and spanish Galiza) has an oceanic rainy climate so there are dense forests too (with oaks, pine trees, eucalyptus and chestnut trees).
The climate is more dry in Castilla (center of Spain) and southern Peninsula...
Sorry for my poor english in vegetal species.
