Footnotes and small print

It really does pay to read the footnotes in the rules, especially the sumamry sheets. I've only just read the bit ablout light type infantry being able to battle in a forest on entry! :oops:

Initially I'd just looked at the terrain table and not read the footnote exception to "cannot battle on entry".

Played this game about 15 times now and still don't have everything memorized. Maybe another 15 times more and I'll have it all down.

Played the River Coa scenario today and used fieldworks tile for the first time. I like the rule about -1 only applying across the fieldwork hex sides and successfully re-took a fieldwork hex from the French by attacking from the open rear.
