Hello. When should this card be played, in the movement phase or the combat phase? Or is it complementary to the movement phase in the combat phase?.

I think it needs to be played at the moment the Light Infantry conducts the movement.

“An ordered unit may may move three hexes….”

Definitely prior to any combats being announced. It can’t be kept in hand and used to retreat a unit when an assault doesn’t go to plan.

Needs to be played in Phase 3. Movement Phase. Light unit ordered move up to 3 hexes with the tactic card (skirmish).
In Phase 4. Combat. You fire ranged combat with the unit and decide to remain or move back.
