Cavalry breakthrough into forest?

pmiranda-napoleonics created the topic: Cavalry breakthrough into forest?
A cavalry unit charges an enemy located in woods. The combat results in the enemy retreating. If the cavalry advances into the forest, I assume it must stop in the forest? I also assume that it can't conduct a cavalry bonus attack because "A unit may not battle the turn it moves onto a Forest hex", correct? Grateful for your confirmation!
