Reading through the reports I have the impression that some battles were decided by misinterpretation of the town victory objective in the scenario.

"The town hexes form a Temporary Majority Victory Banner Objective worth 2 Victory Banners for the side that occupies the absolute majority of these hexes at the start of the turn (Temporary Majority Victory Banner Turn Start)"

So, not 2 vps for each town hex...
A tiny detail with a major consequence.

I have not seen these games. Can this significant error be addressed by resuming the affected games, I wonder?

I'm away from home for weeks, so no capacity to review all the log files.. but a review of the match reports doesn't indicate anything amiss to me.

What specifically is the games concerned?

Glory is fleeting, but obscurity is forever.

The reports don’t indicate any problem to me, nor have the logfiles I’ve scrolled through. I doubt players would misunderstand the temp majority victory banner criteria to that extent. More likely to forget to cancel the victory banners immediately the majority is lost. As always there are the rules of war but if they’re not enforced the tide of battle will turn irrevocably.

Gonzo reports: "4 point swing for towns telling."

Might I have misinterpret the meaning?

One side lost the majority and the two banners; the other side almost immediately satisfied the temp majority criteria and gained two.

The other usual problem that people forget about immediately losing of banners and not immediately getting of the banners.

Round 2, Game 1, Laon (French Left):

Viridovilas: French 9 banners
Javelinthrower, Prussians. 6 banners

Round 2, Game 2, Laon (French Left):

Viridovilas: Prussians 7 banners
Javelinthrower, French. 9 banners

Both battles developed fairly similar: French army took advantage of its superiority on the left flank. On the other hand, the Prussian centre hold well. Decisive was therefore the slightly different outcomes of the engagement on the French right. This time we played with the old version module, but I personally prefer the newest high-resolution 5.1 version

417 Laon - French Left (9&10 March 1814) [OT2024 - Round Two - 1st game]
French (Azzy_23)7 vs Prussian (Kandras78) 9(7+2)

The French army deployed for the attack in the Center and Right under constant but moderately effective artillery fire. The Blue also managed to occupy the town on their left briefly before being pushed out.
The Old Guard charged forward but were greeted with an Artillery Canister and First strike. In exchange, the Old Guards inspired by Gen. Grouchy managed to destroy a RI and an LI. The Prussians throw everything at that unit sacrificing a MLNCR. The exploited Guards were finally evacuated with a Short Supply out of harm's way.
A desperate struggle started for Claoy on the Left, parallel to a reckless cavalry action on the Right supported by a HA. After a brief and bloody encounter, the Prussian Cavalry has melted away.
While the French finally secured the town on their Left, the Prussians responded with a LGB threatening the depleted French Center. But all was over after the French HA trying to keep the Prussian Infantry at bay had been dismantled.

A Rule Question came up during the game. Azzy played a Bayonet Charge granting a +1 die to the guard units. After a destroying a RI, he played Inspired Infantry Leader on a OG. We had a brief discussion about the second attack receiving the bonus +1 from the Bayonet Charge card or not.

Is there an official ruling? Had not found anything related in the FAQ.
