Just a technical question:

are we going to play with the 4.1.16 module version or the 5.1 beta1 one?

Thanks!

I'm interested in hearing opinions on this, and I haven't tested v5.1 personally (since it arrived whilst I've been travelling)

Players should consider the comments in the module section
vassalengine.org/wiki/Module:Commands_%26_Colors:_Napoleonics

In particular this note
The module requires a JVM maximum heap size of at least 2560 Mb recommended; set this in Preferences (or Settings) - General after starting the module (restart to implement the change). Please review the module's Help menu for assistance to get the most out of the new version and to report any issues.

The module is not backward copmpatible, so it is an all in or none in situation, and I don't want to create technical blocks to players participating. That being said, have to roll forwards with the times..

Glory is fleeting, but obscurity is forever.

Actually I have tried it once and I have like it very much.

If anything, since it finally includes high-resolution counters and cards, as it has always be the case for Ancients.

Some rule implementations are still not perfect (it could be I use wrong procedures though), but with a little of flexibility you can easily overcome such issues

SORRY: I can’t find a way to erase this post which was supposed to be an answer to MarkMcG
