Use this first

www.ccnapoleonics.net/Articles/CCN-Relat...-and-extensions.html

and then go online with it, and play.
I am just (most) online, because you learn the Vassal mechanic very fast if you play against familiar Vassal players ;)

If you have problems, going online with it, i will add this Point to the tutorial also.

My dice are the hell!

I play miniature WWII wargames ( Flames of War System ) and was recently introduced to CCNap by other wargamers. Together we have all the expansions.

Hello All!

My name is Tony Langston and I have just recently got into Napoleonics, though I have been primarily a WWII and Ancients/Medieval Wargamer since High School (that's better than saying "30-35 years ago!). I am from Chicago and still live in the area. i joined this site as I like an online community around a game as it provides great support and interest. I am in a similar one at PG-HQ, centered around the Panzer Grenadier games.

I found this site after getting into C&C Napoleonics on the advice of a Skype friend of mine. I have played about 4-5 games, both face-to-face and via Skype/Vassal and have enjoyed every game.

I am looking forward to playing more!

Welcome to this community Tony!

Having come from Memior '44 and C&C:A I was, like you, new to the Napoleonic period, knowing little more than the 100 Days Campaign. Since then I've read and researched the period which has added to my appreciation and enjoyment of the game.

C&C:N is an excellent game which demands and rewards respect in the way you play.

I'm a long time lurker on this forum and I don't remember if I've already posted. Anyway, I love all the content this site is giving us, notably with the unofficial epic scenarios.

Funny you mention that Panzer, in my gaming club, playing C&C Napoleonics has actually made most of my friends interested in the napoleonic period while they weren't at all at the beginning. They were in fact reluctant in playing Napoleonics because of that. Shows that C&C Napoleonics is indeed a good way to bring players to the period. :)

Hi everyone!

My name is Luca Occhi, I'm from Ferrara, in Italy, and I'm trying to create a C&C Napoleonics club in my city.

I'm trying to make things very appealing to the new potential players, so I'm using 1\72 miniatures instead of blocks, and I'm almost done in making a hex board with all the terrain features for our beloved C&C. :)

Tonight I tried Mariazell scenario, and the Austrian won 4-1 (incredibly), but they've been blessed wih nice cards and strong dice rolls :silly: ..

I'm also preparing a point buy system, but with limited options, and with compulsory basic units, to mantain and encourage historic feeling. :) :)

Hope to hear from you all soon!

bye bye

(now I have to finish 2 swamp hexes and 2 lake hexes  )

Hello, I am David and hail from Columbus Ohio, I have been playing wargames for years and like this system for the brevity, ease of play and close games. I am looking for opponents on vassal but will not be able to play until mid-August due to a trip to Europe for 3 weeks, Italy, France and Germany.
