It is my pleasure to report that S. Fatemi (myself) defeated the Brits played well, but under an ill fated star by Joe Harrison.
French 5 banners
British 3 Banners

Round 1, First Game
British (Mark B ) 5 Banners
French (Desnouk) 4 Banners
A close game, with the sides pursuing similar plans on opposite flanks, resulting in a deadly dance around the centre of the field.

Round 1, Second Game
British (Desnouk ) 2 Banners
French (Mark B ) 5 Banners
An opening show of force by the British prompted the French to pull back. French cavalry action against British artillery saw the French ahead by their good fortune, and with an improved central position. As the British edged up to outflank the French left, a forward dash by French Light Infantry appeared to provoke the British into a bayonet charge. A strong riposte drew the French closer to victory. The British made one last successful attack before the remaining French cavalry, rallied earlier, swept forward again to claim the final banner.

would it make any difference if we played the matches out of order, or outside the specified month?
So for instance if I played Roliça and Corunna this month, and Vimiero in June?
Glory is fleeting, but obscurity is forever.

I have no problem with that, as long as you play the scenarios and opponents and specified in the schedule.
