I some months ago I asked in the Module Support forum
www.vassalengine.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=11204
but that didn't really go anywhere.
I have a plan to test the EPIC module with a mini-tournament to see if having a single deck (90 card deck) solves the problem
Otherwise, I will look to get the CCN module rebuilt from scratch, like the Ancients module. That was Alessandro and Guilio I recall. Ideally it would have the Expansion 7 upgrades as well.

I know Mark, and I appreciate your efforts ..... I wouldn't know where to start! Thanks for anything you can do to have the module improved/replaced. Meanwhile, I guess everyone just has to 'soldier on'

Hi Tony. I did quite a lot of work in VASSAL and the problem is that the issues with the Napo module are difficult to diagnose. I spent several hours investigating the possible causes, without success. There's a protocol you can follow to reduce the occurrence of these issues, but no guarantees expressed or implied.
1) be sure you are using the same version of the module AND of VASSAL (there are several versions with variations that albeit minimal can be relevant for some module)
2) DON'T DO NOTHING before both players take their side;
3) once the sides are assigned, prepare the deck;
4) when discarding a card be sure that only the card is selected: click somewhere on the map and then click again on the card;
Hope this help.

GG06 - Fleurus (26 June 1794)
Game 2
Giulio (French): 4
Gileforn (Austrians): 9
That was an interesting batlle with an opportunity to play against very skillfull opponent. That was second play with Giulio and I like it as my first.
Classically "Austrians" has started at their right flankwith not bad shooting to the town. This time again left flank was French till the end. Dutch troops wasn't too much powerfull to through them back. Also French troops kick off lighttroops and line infnatry on the right flank. As a result main power of Austrians were only on the center. Once Light Austrian Cavalery was very lucky to receive zero damage from 6 dices melee bombard. The battle was very balanced, but in the final four alone cities without French troops and good luck made a result.
Thanks Giulio for the play.

Hello Generals!
All those reports interest me a lot because I'm still very curious in other people's way of playing it.
I'm a little surprised to see a tendency for the Allies to win most of your battles? I replayed it recently several times (with a friend and solo) and I'm still around a 50/50 balanced game! Is there something I miss or you miss? Or is that just the dice?
For sure the starting positions are very close (mostly in left and center) and some instant decisions must be taken there. So luck may be important if one side has starting cards that fits those 2 early encounters.
When you finish this tournament round, have a try of this scenario with my NEW changes of the balloon rules: With a scout card the French player can now see the opponent FULL hand BEFORE ordering his unit plus he still can draw 2 CARDS (and choose one) at the end.
Enjoy - GG

Anyone in touch with Nemo ? I am due to play him this month but he isn't responding to the message system and I haven't got any other means of contact.

Hi Mark.
I am missing some knowledge.
Where is the module GG06 kept. It doesn't appear in any of my scenarios.
Help!

Use the .vsav file provided by Mark at the beginning of this thread, in the second post. Also, check the rules clarification in the third post (in the tournament, balloons only reveal command cards, not tactician cards)
