Napoleonics Vassal PBEM

I was interested to know if anyone uses VASSAL for PBEM for this game. Does it work playing this way?

If so I would be interested in setting up a game with someone. I like the idea of playing online, but I have rarely a couple of uninterrupted hours to spare.

I've only played the base game scenarios. But I am happy to run with other rules if people are patient with me!

I’m happy to PBEM.p and I’d be quite happy to play any scenarios with you.

When PBEM, interactive steps can usually be sped up by making (seemingly) obvious decisions for the other player - e.g ignore a flag, or not, retreat path etc, and then the other player pitches in with an interrupted log if they disagree.
