Mark McG vs Gonzo
Semi-Final 1
Mark McG (French): 7
Gonzo (Allies): 5

Essentially a lot of skirmishing until the French got sufficient Left cards to make an attack, The Allies then used LGM to flee that flank, and the French used Counter Attack to follow. 2 hours of preparation for a 30 minute assault. Bayonet Charge or Forced March would have cut down the prep time.

Gonzo vs Mark McG
Semi final 2
Gonzo (French) 7
Mark McG 2

French maueverd into woods on right with Allies hiding on back slope of hill. Allied bayonet charge on that flank almost swept woods, but French managed to hold out and each side lost a unit and fell back. French mauevered art and started chipping away at Allies and moved Cav up. Back to back Cav charges led to Allied art destruction and up to 3 Allied inf squares at a time. Miserable Allied dice against the French cav finally drove them away, but by that time a Forced march and 2 Assault centers put the mas of French inf in the Allied face on their center left. Two command any finished it for the French. Great French cards most of game. Thanks to Mark for great match and running the tourney.
