What really would have helped would have been some movement cards; can't fight without them. Todd played a good, aggressive game and I couldn't do a thing to stop him. It was one of the stranger card hands I've ever had, for most of the game.

It was the 3:1 dice rolling...

Small orders and in the wrong section kept Allies from responding well.

EDIT: didn't see your response until after I had posted mine, Thom. While I couldn't see into your hand, I could tell from what you were playing that it was a rough hand for almost the entire game.

Round 5 - 506 Dohna - 9 October 1813
Michalk (Russian) Player 3 banners won 31 blocks lost
plainscape (French) 7 banners won 25 blocks lost

At first things looked bad for the French with the Russian horde advancing forward on both flanks. But, the units held together just long enough for the artillery to position themselves into the cities. Though slightly forced back, it was deadly hand to hand combat for the cities which swung the momentum of the battle decisively in favor of the French.

It was a very exciting game and I appreciate the patience and rule corrections from my opponent!

Round 1 - 502 Sorauren - French right early afternoon (28 July 1813)
Bayernkini (Allies) 9 banners won 21blocks lost
asyncritus (French) 4 banners won 35 blocks lost

French attacked 2 turns on left and hits zero with 9 dice, which helped a lot, because counter range combats on this flank could
hit 7 french INF :)
French tried then attacks on right and center, but because of wet powder, they couldn´t still hit much and the counter combats was nearly deadly.
Then the Allies had enough time to regroup their battle lines and killing the last units for victory :)

Round 4 - 505 Wartenburg (3 October 1813)
Mark_T (Prussians) 7 banners won 46 blocks lost
plainscape (French) 9 banners won 43 blocks lost

There are two files because we had to take a break between the two games. This battle was long and intense and basically an upset victory for the French who had no business being on the offensive. The French's whole structure was about the fall apart at the end, but a lucky cav charge that took out two units won the day. I have no idea how I pulled this one off.

Much as I hate to do this, I really dont see how I can get my MT games played. Finishing one later with MK which is rather exciting but having had computer problems leading up into the holidays, then being on vacation out of town, and now with both daughters playing travel volleyball and needing to leave town every weekend for overnight tournaments, I just dont see how I will get my games played. I used to be able to get online to play several times a week, but I'm sure several of you have noticed my extreme absence. When signing up, I didn't really see how difficult things would get.

Problem is each girl has, besides tournaments, three practices per week, 2 hours each, and they dont usually practice on same day as they are on different age groups. Club is 35 mins away by car, so after work, I'm losing about 3 hours each day, which kills my ability to play on weekdays anymore during club season.

Its looking like the only time of year I can reliably play MT or be online consistently is after club season ends in June and before it starts in late November/early December.

Not sure how you want to handle this Mark, if someone wanted to step in and just start fresh in my position or if you want to take a chance and see if I'm able to get the games played. I should be able to finish the current game sometime in the next couple weeks, but not sure how or when I can get the others done. I'm thinking might be best just to give maximum banners to all my opponents and scratch me off.

Sorry!

well, finish up the game with MichalK, and I'll seek a substitute for the remaining 3 matches.
