Hi,
I've started creating scenario based on historical sources.
I have some idea to give -1 to all infantry units in range  combat  due to bad weather conditions - not sure about art fire yet.
I'm not sure how to dill with the victory points for the locations.
I looking for your advice to make scenario more balanced.
Please take a look and give me some advice knowing I'm new to the game.

my sources
napoleonistyka.atspace.com/BATTLE_OF_DRESDEN.htm
Allied Forces at Dresden, 26/27 August 1813
French Forces at Dresden, 26/27 August 1813

for such a large battle I'd tend to break the battle into segments as Brad did here
BH11 Dresden - Day2 - French Right flank (27 August 1813)
BH12 Dresden - Day2 - French Left flank (27 August 1813)
he excluded the centre, which was quiet

On the French left, I'd tend to concentrate on assault on the initial positions , Strehlen through to Streisen. This attack seems the most exciting partof the battle, and worthy of greater attention.

On the French Right, Victor & Murat seem to have easily beaten the Austrians, mainly with cavalry. As a scenario, it seems less fun.

Glory is fleeting, but obscurity is forever.

Thanks for feedback Mark.
I played my scenario few times with solitary rules on Vassal.
1 victory for France 18-16 and 2 wins for Coalition (18-14 and 18-15).
Now I'll try to test it with my mate this week and work on some special rules.

there are a number of "Leipzig" battles already included in the official scenarios, notably Möckern and Liebertwolkwitz.

the battle is so large, and over 4 days, it is impossible for me to consider it as a single scenario.

here is my effort at LGB Probstheyda

Hi Mark,
Thank you very much for sources.
I'm thinking about Day 1 of the battle and action in south.
Murat charge, the Grand Battery and Poniatowski struggle for Connewitz and Dolitz on the Pleisse River. All the good stuff ;)
Can you please send me the Vassal file for your Probstheyda scenario I really wish to try it with my friends.

Cheers,
Eugen
