Only 5 games left to play, of which 2 involve Rudi.
I seem to recall he was away for 2 weeks, but can't recall exactly when he left. If possible it would be great if he could finish out the games, but if we can get the other 3 played that would be great.

Bit of a blowout in Round 1 scenario. Scenario: 304 ELCHINGEN (14 OCTOBER 1805)

RD 5, Ordal Cross.

French (theimann): 6 banners, 19 blocks lost
Allies (nekengren2): 3 banners, 27 blocks lost

Waves of bloody charges and some flank manoeuvrings bring victory to the French.

RD 3, Macdonald's Square.

French (theimann): 7 banners, 23 blocks lost
Allies (Mark McG): 4 banners, 28 blocks lost

Macdonald's Square barely holds on and captures two villages, killing the Austrian Marshal D'Aspse in his flight from a French cavalry charge.

Time for an update.
Heats are almost done, with 3 matches to play, but Rudi was away and unlikely to finish 2 of those matches.
So the last heat match will determine the Semi-Finals in the Alpha group.

In the Beta (Allied) Group it is
Charles vs Mark McG in the Semi-Final.

A complete listing of results thus far.

Craonne 1814
Play twice, one each side

We'll I didn't make the finals but I wanted to thank everyone that I played with and
all who set up and run these tournaments. I had a great time and look forward to playing
in more.

Thanks again,

Chris

Very happy you could join us Chris, and MT10 won't be long away.

Prussians are now put back to August by GMT, which could slip again.

So I'm considering options for MT10, and suggestions are welcome.

Some possibilities
1. A Medley of Allied powers again
2. An EPIC tournament
3. An American War of Independence selection from those on this site
4. A Borodino team tournament (3 vs 3).. or Aspern-Essling

other ideas?

I had overlooked a match result, so the Alpha Semi-Final is;
Michalxo vs Greg O. OR Rudi

Match is as above.

I had also overlooked that Rudi can still tie with Greg, and looks like he can get a result in the very near future. So it may yet come to a block count tie breaker to determine whether it is Rudi or Greg facing Michal.

My apologies for the misleading information here, a head cold is giving me the attention span of a flea.
