gheintze and I just tried to play our game, but had to abandon because the same glitch came up that happened last week- when I tried to draw cards I could not see them in my hand. The log said that I had drawn the cards but they were not visible. We were both using the same version of vassal and the same version of the CCM module, and I tried reentering the game several times, but no luck. I've never encountered this kind of problem with any vassal module before. Below is the screenshot.

I'm guessing a problem with the extension file

Try downloading the extension file again
vassalengine.org/wiki/Module:Commands_%26_Colors:_Medieval

check you are using the right file.. I had an old one
CCMedieval_Gothic-War_unofficialV1_9.vmdx

it only happens with Gothic War scenarios I presume?

Sorry for posting in the tournament thread.
If you want I can try to assemble the main module and all the extensions into a single file, this way it would be easier to keep all the contents aligned...

let's see if that addresses the problem, but if we go that path let's add all the new scenarios we have.

Round 2 gonzoj vs gheintze

gheintze wins 6 banners to 4; 24 figures to 16

The Goths were able to position their warriors for a foot onslaught into the center of the opposing infantry.  Joe was unable to mount an effective response even after moving his cavalry in an attempt to eliminate the warriors. Although I lost 4 warrior units, I killed five of his infantry units and my leader made a miraculous escape through Joe's units twice. I then repositioned and used a mounted charge to finish off his weakened medium cavalry for the win.

After some minor skirmishing on the flanks, the Goth Heavy cavalry went straight up the middle and ripped Narses a new one. Actually I was pretty lucky not to lose any units, the Goth HC was down to 1 block in places, and just bad luck for Togan they survived. Both ended with 0 Inspired Action tokens..

the 4 Goth cavalry on the right did all the battling aside from desultory fire from the Light Bow on the left. Everyone else shuffled around and watched..

I had quite a hand here, almost every card a "named" card rather than section cards. Played First Strike and Ambush in a single turn against the same SHBC, though only the First Strike was any use.
Stand out defender for the Byzantines was a lone block Heavy Foot who dealt out some punishment before finally going down.

Round 2 BATTLE of MUGELLUM

The early battle had me attacking on my left against the AI in the woods with some success after several attacks. I had hit one AI and reduced another to 1 block and forced it out of the woods. Ranged fire favored the Goths and my bow cavalry on my right could not hit the LB while they found the range to some degree. My center LB did hit some WI. We both used Isp Actions for the RALLY action but only recovered 1 block each. The WI line stepped off the hill line and posed a sure threat to my center. A few turns later, the Goths charged my left and center with WI and MC. I had a FIRST STIKRE and AMBUSH both in hand but with so many possible attacks I was not sure if that was enough to stem the tide. I lose a weak LB and my HBC along with a MI as my FIRST STRIKE and AMBUSH do not kill off any units but do weaken two MC. My two drawn cards did net me the all-important BLUE TROOPS and a FIRST STRIKE. I close in with my MC and kill off 2 MC, a WI and a AI and Totila on a 2d check after I missed Boduila on back-to-back 1d leader checks. So, I go from a 0 to 3 deficit to a 5 to 3 lead.  FOOT ONSLAUGHT is the order of the day for the Goths and victory is possible. But my MC evade with only 1 loss, and I only lose one MI as another holds after playing FIRST STRIKE. My MOUNTED CHARGE goes after the WI in the open and my first attack ends the game as a 3 block WI goes down. 

I was very lucky to have both AMBUSH and FIRST STRIKE early and they set the stage for my counterattack. Well played by my opponent and his two end game attacks could very well have carried the day. I wish Renaud the best of luck the rest of the way.

So, my last battle is in the books.
