Mark given the number of people interested I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better to use the OT format.

we have 17 players, and there is sufficient scenarios for 9 rounds, a semi-final and final
So the heats would be 9 games over 18 weeks

in OT format, it will be 10-12 games over 5-6 months, playing 5-6 scenarios (plus Semis and Finals)

So I'm inclined to stick to the Mini-Tournament format with the shorter time frame and a larger selection of scenarios.
I anticipate the Ancients Open in March, and having two Open tournaments overlapping outside the finals seems like too many matches in a 1 month time frame.

I will also go for the Mini style with 9 rounds ,
alternatively "mini +" (like we once did in the TGW, where each person played each Scenario twice with two different persons, but still in the mini format) and can run longer
