Historical Notes
Troops kept coming in for days. Men armed with crossbows, spearmen, a troop of mounted knights, and Dwarf bagpipers swelled our ranks to a point that when we deployed for battle our troops stretched across the entire valley. I'm told that our Creature moved forward and has done great damage to the enemy. I'm not sure if our wizard's Magic Vortex worked...

• Blue tokens (B) indicate Hobgoblin Hyena Riders and green tokens (A) indicate troops with longbows. Note that this scenario requires Scottish Wars, The Hundred Years' War, Goblin Marauders, and the Dwarven Battalion expansions.

• Magic Vortex rules are in effect for the Standard camp. That player takes the following items at the start of the adventure: Rock Elemental Summary card, Magic Vortex Summary card, Magic Vortex tile, Red Banner Rock Elemental figure, and Conjure Token.
• The entire river is fordable.
