We did break through, eventually! But it appears we were a day late: The bulk of the coward's forces had vanished in the woods!
It has taken our spies and scouts the better part of a week to locate them again. The terrain isn't auspicious, and the forest is still deep. But they appear to be planning to break camp again on the morrow, so we must strike now. We will get little sleep tonight?
