Historical Overview
Atlanta is under siege. Replacing the cautious Johnston, General John Bell Hood launches a desperate, aggressive counterattack against Sherman’s forces. As the Union Army of the Cumberland crosses the rain-swollen Peachtree Creek, Hood strikes, hoping to catch them divided and without breastworks.
The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.
