Notice you have all your scenarios in the eastern. I assume this was for simplicity sake. That said, moving Shiloh, Richmond Ky., Perryville, and others to the Western where they should be can be a help finding them.
I marked a few more than needed changing at the scenario end. Also, I plan to add some Eastern Ky. battles, these will be listed as Eastern because those armies got their orders from Eastern Commands for the most part. Such as The Army of Western Virginia, which fought in Western Va., and Eastern Kentucky, but orders came out of Richmond Va. The Federal Troops later were added to the Western Command, but for simplicity sake, I will place them in the Eastern Scenarios. Confusing ain't it!
Another question, I noticed a couple of scenarios that really need a update. In other words they do not reflect well the situation, or lack information for the viewer. Should I just post a new scenario under the same name. Example Richmond Ky. or Missionary Ridge. Both either have false information, or lack information and or proper unit placement.
But remember, most of these "old" fanscenarios was done with the 2000 BC version/rules by the designers. Therefore we can add for sure historical notes or change typos in these Scenarios, but we cannot change main setups in these scenarios, except the original designer does it
If you want change main things in the setup (Terrain, Units, Scenario rules) you should setup/create a "copy" of existing scenarios and upload to share it here with your name as designer
Use for this the Vassal module. If you need special terrain (like railroads, roads...), you must wait still 2-3 weeks, then i update the vassal module with such "customized" terrain tiles
And thanks for your effort about the classification of the Scenarios.
If you have more historical background knowledge about the ACW too, use the "Historical Background" section of the Forum.
You can add new Posts, about all ACW things you know (flags, organisation, Units, uniforms, battles... )
