Great work on all of your graphics. I have printed them up and made terrain hexes out of them. Are you going to do any road and railroad intersections?

Thank you, Mr Bluze for the comments. And yes roads and 1 or 2 intersections are plannified but for a little later because just before spring holidays i have many works to do at school (i'm teacher... :woohoo: )

I am going to describe how I make a terrain hex. If anyone has any suggestions on how to make the tiles different I am certainly open for suggestions. First I put two tiles into a drawing program (I have the cheap MS program) connected together, shown below. Then I print them on card stock. I cut a square that is a little bigger than the hex out of the cardboard backing on a tablet of paper. Next I spread Elmer’s School Glue on the inside of one hex, followed by pressing the two insides of the hexes together so the glue is on both hexes. Now I open the double hex up and fold it onto the cardboard square. After the glue has dried I trim the cardboard into a hex. I will then seal the edges with super glue the edges. The final step is that I cover both sides of the tile wit 2-1/2 inch clear packing tape.

It takes a lot of work to make one hex. First of all the Elmer’s glue is water based it sometimes causes the hex to warp, so I have to keep compressing the tile. Have to be careful with handling the tile so the ink will not smear. The super glue is messy. I use the card board, but it is not exactly the same thickness as the tiles that come with the game. The final step using clear packing tape gives the tile a glossy look. There has to be better way. Again, are there any suggestions?

I do not know if anybody else does this. I have a piece of clear plexiglass cut to be the same size of the map. After I have set up a scenario with all of the terrain tiles set up I then cover everything with the plexiglass. That way when you move your units you are not disturbing the tiles.

I printed out all terrain tiles (also the original) on a adhesive
Label sheet, glued it onto a 1mm thick cardboard and cut it out, that´s all.

Together with my selfmade gameboards, i have allways all tiles for the current C&C game, i play :)

I could still need a straight and bend road on a hill :)

And additional we could need also each tile with the wall around (not only straights with walls on both sides), so we could use it as "sunken roads" for example :)
see my examples with the fences, and replace the fences with with your walls around it :)
