Hi everyone! New to this website. Older gamer, from Paris, Texas. I've had battle cry for a long time, but haven't played it in awhile.

I've relearned the rules, and started playing again. I just recently, visited my first civil war battlefields.

I've never traveled to the east, but went to Pennsylvania with my wife and visited Gettysburg, then went to Tennessee to see the Shiloh battlefield, and then cross the state line to Corinth Mississippi and visited that battlefield.

My longest vacation ever and much needed one.

Next on the list is Antietam, and then hope to visit the state of Virginia and all the battles that took place there, and then catch Vicksburg, Mississippi, on the way home, if I get another vacation.

Just wanted to say hello.



 

Hey JB. Welcome. I'm new here also. I've seen Gettysburg twice but none of the other battlefields. Which were most interesting to you?

I've got BC150 and several Memoir 44 expansions now and look to get more active with people whenever covid slows down. Played a lot of war games in the 70's and 80's but my life got pretty busy back then and I recently donated all my games to clubs and gamers a couple of years back. I like the lighter beer and pretzels types now but Richard Borg's still give me a run for my money.
