I have been playing miniature board games since the 60s. I have all of the American Heritage Collection, including Battle Cry (1961), which has a completely different game mechanic. My collection of board games numbers over 300 (12 are Civil War games). I would rather play a game face to face, but that is becoming more difficult with the internet and card games dominate game stores. I prefer board games based on history and not fantasy. I do like all of the C&C games. I used to belong to a group that played BC about once a month. There were anywhere from two to eight players at each time to play. The group fell apart about two years ago, due to lack of participation. Because of the group I have a collection of 60 scenarios, including the original official scenarios. I have bought extra figures for special scenarios.
This is a great website, well developed and maintained. I appreciate that this site was developed. There is another website at Yahoo for BC 2000. Unfortunately that website has lost its legs. I hope that this site is active for a quite a while.
