Flagpoles was created by Mark-McG
I bought some Italeri miniatures to provide myself with extra figures for infantry units, and ideally I would add a banner carrier to each new unit. There are plenty of alternative flags available to print, but I'm unhappy with my flagpole options.

Originally I planned on toothpicks, but the poles I have are quite stout, and rather out of proportion to the flags.

Any thoughts on alternatives? Wondering about straightened paperclips or sewing needles. If anyone has experience of these it would be helpful.
