I will not let the flag of offtopic fall down!

Yes, intteresting point of view.

In some reasons Espernato was not viable and English's new global language. As for me I speak English with another Ukrainians on "non-domestic" forums just to let other people understand what we are talking about. Visiting Balkans use English too, though we speak similar.

Nothing personal, just globalisation.

We shall never surrender.

Is American a language? I thought they spoke English, or at least attempted to

Globilisation is a fairly modern concept. There is a good reason why most of the world speaks english. The Roman empire spoke latin. The British empire spoke English.

Yes, but France and most of other european countries were not part of the british Empire.
So, I deeply regret when peoples of latin derived languages speak together in a poor bad english.
This intense use of english as international language will transform it in several formms in a certain time and maybe as latin and ancient greek (for exemple), classic english taught in Oxford will die and be considered as a dead language...
Sorry for my poor english

Language is always evolving. English at the time of Shakespear is very different from now, just as English in the future will also be different.

No French F1 next season again :(, but at least there is Monaco.
