Experiments in 1/72 plastics

I'm experimenting with 1/72 plastics to replace the blocks.

Here's a group of painted Greeks with thin magnets glued to their bases, attached to a metal base stand. The base has been spray painted with a color very close to the yellow of the C&C:A mounted board.

The idea is it will be much easier to move them as a group (even easier than 4 separate blocks) and figures are easily removed as casualties are taken.

I'll post some more pics in the near future, but for now I think I like the way it is going...

;) a good idea to use miniatures 1:72,
or even series of 15 mm!

I find no need to use magnets ..
magnetise also need the map, and perhaps deprive the original map.

The thumbnails can be positioned comfortably in the hexes without any problem.

I use the miniature 15 mm and to distinguish them I painted a stripe on the basis of: :side:
