Catilinian took advantage of a couple of "Line Command" cards to get closer to the Roman front.
In response, the Romans maneuvered to move away the LI from the front line (Move -Fire-Move).
Catilininian carried out the first not very successful frontal clash against the Roman LI units (who had the possibility to evade).
When the Romans responded to the clash with MI and HI units (including the Leader) there was little that could be done.
