A very fast game with two banners of MC and LI on the first turn, and three Spartacus played in a row.

Game 2

Also a quick game with MC destroyed on the first turn and also two Spartacus in a row, but Spartan dice were more lucky.

Thanks to Renaud for two good games, difficult to do anything in that kind of situation.

This was a very quick one. An opening Theban "Mounted Charge" caused havoc and left the Spartans clinging at straws. The only path to victory for Sparta looked like a charge on the Spartan right, but this was neutered swiftly by the Thebans.

A much longer battle with plenty of maneuvering as the Thebans successfully looked to keep casualties to a minimum.

I love how Leuctra can be a quick game. It started with Thebans jumping at my Hoplites with Double-Time only to get powerful counter-attack with Cavalry Charge. It went to 4-0 for Spartans when things started to get out of hand =- Thebans quickly scored 3 points. But then I managed to grab last, final point.

Another quick game. Not much action initially on "heavy wing", a lot of movement in center and other wing. My Auxilia was very stubborn and despite having 1 block, refused to die! In the end heavy wing activated, Epaminondas charged forward and even 5-block enemy units were not able to stop him. There was no come back this time and the result ended at 5-0.

Game 1

The battle opened with what is like a common one with MI winning a banner, then counted by some LI. As the Spartans formed up a line, the Thebans attacked with HI at the Spartan MH right flank. Unbelieveable gifts from the gods, in the form of near perfect dice rolls, resulted in the hoplites defeated and the battle completed.

The battle opened with the MI, attacking, winning a banner, then retreating safely. The Thebans advanced with their right flank, the Spartan MH tried to reply and failed. The Thebans now leading 2-0. The Spartans moved a unified line forward, but then took block losses from "Darken the Sky", leaving three weakened units in range. At this point the Spartan right flanked with MH advanced and won two banners. From there the Thebans picked up the weakened stragglers and marched to a 5-2 victory.

Fun games, but I imagine the Thebans will win this one often.
