It seems that the FAQ entry for this scenario cannot be reached from the scenario page. I post it below:

Q. When more of Caesar units occupy the hillock, in the center section, than his opponent, collect one Victory Banner.
Is this banner permanently won, even if the situation changes further in the game?

A. (RB) Control of the hilllock change. When Caesarian forces are in control, his camp gains a Victroy Banner. If
Caesarian forces no longer controls the hilllock, the victory banner is lost.

@alecrespi I've also noticed some mismatch between the units in the map and the units in the unit summary below the map. The units as deployed in the map are correct.

I've update the unit images below the map, except I can't add Caesar. Think it is mostly correct now.

And further. Below the map are the units that take part in the battle. So, on the side of Caesar on the map are detachments of the middle cavalry, and under the map is heavy cavalry.
Admin, maybe you should fix it?

Game 1
Armada01(Tony) (Cesarian): 7 banners
EZpickins (Pompeian): 2 banners
Pompeian army advanced onto the hills while the Cesarian forces inched toward the hills. Pompeian units advanced from the town onto the adjacent hills and battles erupted along the hills. Units were traded. The battle shifted to the other side of the field as Pompeian cavalry attacked Caesar's left flank without success and losing one unit. Pompeian forces advanced off the hills and did some damage but destroyed only 1 unit. I am Spartacus played by Caesar enabled elimination of 3 pompeian units bringing score to 5-1. Pompeian double time split Caesar's line but only eliminated one unit. Caesar's units advanced and eliminated the final 2 Pompeian units to end the game.

Game 2

EZpickins (Cesarian): 6 banners
Pompeian army quickly moved onto the hills and Cesarian army closed on the hills. Line command brought the 2 lines together on the lip of the hills. Cesarian forces did some damage and got a foothold on the hills. Pompeian Clash of Shields decimated Cesarian forces but then Cesar was able to advance and eliminate 2 units. Pompeian Heavy infantry was able to end the game.

A magical game where everything went right for me, good cards, excellent dice.
Pompeiians marched to the hill immediately, so Caesar formed a long line to advance, and Darkened the Sky with pilum to good effect. The Counterattack was not very good, and the Counterattack again finished off a Heavy Infantry on the hill and wrote down the Pompeiian strength. Caesar then advanced on the hill and broke the Pompeiian line, causing several losses. The Pompeiians reformed and returned to the hill, but poor dice let them down, and the reply was a Clash of Shields. With the Pompeiians forced back behind the hill, Caesar ordered his long line forwards and took the hill and defeated Pompeii.


Wisely Baloo chose to play Game 2 another day once my dice have cooled.

Love to see the log of this one. It should be peculiar.
