Move - fire - move card

In a recent game the MOVE-FIRE-MOVE card was played. One unit moved onto a forest tile in the first phase, fired and attempted movement in the second phase. The terrain definition states that there should be no further movement that turn, so the question is, are there two seperate moves/turns, which would allow the unit to move again or does the forest stop movement in the second phase.

I think the card meant each time you move, you can move no further if you moved into a forest. So you can move in the second moving phase. Just an intuition...

Hi!

It's written in the rules:

"The order on this card is optional! After combat units MAY make the second move!"

I think, in this case the terrain doesn't allow the second movement!

Richard Borg has recently made a ruling on this on the Boardgame Geek forums.

In essence it is two separate moves and terrain affects only the current move of the two.

Thank you Phill for point this out (and obviously thanks to Mr Borg for the explanation).

I've also updated the Command Cards FAQ .

C&C Ancients is a great game and I love playing it, so thank you all for the debate and the ruling on this issue.
