The evade rule says:
... only symbols that match the evading unit will score a hit. All other symbols rolled including swords and flags are ignored.
We were originally pretty clear that this exclusion applied to leader (helmet) hits too; That is, a "hit" scored because a leader is present would be ignored by the evader. Then we noticed "including swords and flags" and wondered why the list of things ignored wouldn't include "helmets".
Just want to make sure that when a side with a leader throws dice against an evader, helmets are ignored.
Is that correct?
if it is, for future revisions, the rule would be clearer without the second sentence. "only symbols that match the evading unit will score a hit" is all you need; the second sentence adds nothing because the list of what's NOT included is not comprehensive.
Thanks.
