Interesting thing came up in a game tonight. I have 4 warrior units, They go into an attack and each unit loses at least 1 block from fire or combat. Two turns later i play a rally card and get 3 block back bring two of the units back to full strength. Since they are active i attack again with them and i roll 4 dice since they are full strength. My son came back and said no you have to reroll since your only allowed 3 dice.
First sentence on warrior says: A warriot unit at full strength Close combats with 1 additional battle die and may ignore one flag rolled aginst it.
Next sentenace is: A warrior unit loses theses bonuses after its first block is lost, but only takes effect when the unit is either attacked again by another enemy unit or is ordered to battle back..
So the question is once a warrior unit loses a block it can never get the bounses back even with a rally card? even with the unit at full strenght?
I think your son may have a future in the Supreme Court.
By the letter of the law he is right but it seems impractical to implement such a pernickety requirement! I hope he doesn't lose faith in you when you tell him the bad news.
