.sav files for Vassal

Hi Alessandro

When we discussed idea of this page few weeks ago, we talked about publishing on this site .sav files for Vassal containing starting army deployment for all X Scenarios, which would ease playing such scenarios (usually it takes some time to deploy units along with the scenario rules). Unfortunately I can't see any of these files on the site. Have you put it them here already and I just can't find them or there are not ready yet, in which case I could help to prepare them.

I do have ALL of the Vassal .SAV files necessary for X-scenarios as I managed to create all of them during make-up of "x-scenarios graphic version"!
I'll publish them in Download area ASAP (maybe tomorrow), free to download and free to use them for easy set-up.

For the moment I've created the Category inside Download section:

tomorrow I'll populate it!

For the moment I've uploaded X13 to X30 .sav files (dedicated to relative X-maps).
Files are ready to download and play!!!

I know that is not the right place to answer but this message is just for greeting everybody on this forum and remember Pavel that we have to fightone against each over on the Vassal Tournament V...

This is a great repository.

I know it would be a huge work (and my suspect is you're currently working on it), but I think it could be useful to put all the direct links to the .sav files in the relative map/scenario articles.

Hello TheRuler and welcome.
For now I can say that Bill Bennett have already published Vassal Modules Extensions containg "Base Game", "Exp1", "Exp2" and "Exp3" scenarios (for an easy use with his CCAncients module).
I'm thinking about it for all "X-scenarios" and othe "user-submitted" maps but I prefer to create some Vassal Module Extension too.
It would be easy to select a scenario directly from Vassal Menu instead of using standard procedure (File > Load Game > locate file > open).
Hoping this will help user the most.

Sure, create a Vassal module would be the best choice.

I'm waiting for "map creators" to approve my idea about the Vassal Module containing all X01-X80 scenarios.
After that I'll publish it immediately.
